: DAVE AGAIN: Nobody on the board is posting on this discussion forum as much as Don Lewis. How are you doing a pretty good job of informing the members? Telling your buddies that don't even know you are on the board? Don: Another issue is that Board members tend to have difficulty entering into online discussions. We tend to give innocent remarks far more weight than the writer intended, simply because they're Board members. It's a choice; they can either get caught up in picaune discussions here, or get on with running the IJA between themselves while we pitch impractical ideas at them. Don't forget, they have to eat too, the IJA isn't a paying gig - there's a limit to what you can expect. We're seeing regular signs of life from the festival, the affiliates are rejuvinating, we're still getting JUGGLE. I'm satisfied the the Board is running things better than I could. Those who aren't satisfied still have a few days to submit their nominations if they know they can do better.
Oops, I didn't think I was that prolific. If I was on the Board, I would certainly not be posting as much as I do now. I'd be putting my energy into discussions with other Board members rather than babbling away here.
