Ok, I have a question to ask... I was not at the fest, but I've seen more than a few posts mention photo ID badges. Can someone please explain this to me?

If I am guessing correctly, juggler has this clip-on badge that they are required to wear. I don't understand how this can possibly be less annoying than a wrist band.
