Even with the 5 DVD package deal, it is unlikely that I'd want them. : He also suggested that we make the 2-DVD set as a continuous 4-5 hour chronological journal of the festival instead of two separate DVDs -- one for highlights and one for championships as we've done in the past. We are only ordering them as a packaged set, so they can't be sold separately anyway. With DVDs there are good menus so finding any particular segment to watch is easy. I like that idea and we're planning to go with it unless someone has a good reason not to. Interesting. Looking at the schedule, the highlights in order seem to be: Welcome show, gym footage, workshops, joggling (if necessary - make that a 6th CD that I won't buy ;-), Individual Prop Competition, Renegade, Youth Show, Juniors Champs, Bix Competition, Individuals and Teams, Numbers, Lazer Vaudeville, games, and Cascade of Stars. I'd guess for a break between discs after the Bix thingy (I don't think it'd be good to break between competitors in the Indivuals). The problem I see is that the good stuff is at the end. I'd spend much more time watching Disc 2. Ideally they should be made equal. In normal years, I have trouble deciding which I enjoy more - Highlights or Championships. I think that should be the aim still. The same with the other 3 videos - put more stuff of value with the Youth Showcase and I'd consider it. Just like the fact that they combined the evening of Youth with Juniors so that more people would attend Youth because the Youth show wasn't as successful standing on it's own (combining it forced people to the Youth show in order to get good seats for the Juniors competition). -Scott
