: I joined the IJA in Jan. of 2000, and so far I have only had one problem with the IJA, and it's pretty small, but I thought I might as well tell y'all about it anyway. I joined not long after the roster was sent out, and so I have yet to get one. Whenever I wanted to know if there were any IJA member in a certain area, I would have to email one of my friends and ask him! Do you think that it would be possible to send a roster to every new member, along with the "welcome" letter?
New members normally get a roster. Probably a new roster was "about to come out" at the time you joined, so you simply would have gotten the new one. But that new roster was delayed. Then it was deliberately delayed more so that people could submit their email addresses if they wanted them in the roster.
And now finally the new roster is *really* "about to come out", so you should get it, I assume, in January.
