Juggler’s Scoop – May 20th, 2012


Juggler’s Scoop is a bi-weekly collection of the latest juggling videos and news bits from around the web.  Here’s the latest scoop!

–  Paper Juggling?  Why not!

–  Juan Duarte Mateos shows off some freestyle contact juggling in front of an audience.

–  UniHoops joins Bob and Trish for their May Trick Shot of the Month video.

–  Kevin Axtell practices some 4 and 5 ball toss tricks at the Pocono Juggling Festival.

–  The wall may be ugly, but Daniela Palickova’s juggling is beautiful.

–  It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time for Jason Garfield, who has been busy doing the Hardcore 360s Workout to get in shape.

–  Steve Hoggan jams with some balls in his room, then takes his juggling to the North Loop Trail to Raintree.

–  Kohei Yamashita gets creative in 3 Ball Tricks III.

–  The IJDB Sendoff Collaboration video is now online.

–  With the recent shutdown of The Internet Juggling Database, several new juggling sites have popped up to provide juggling information and to serve as a portal to rec.juggling.  Check out The Juggling Edge, Juggle Junction, JuggleHub, Juggling Lounge, or the Google Groups route to rec.juggling.

–  Andrew Olson displays some great cinematography and slow-motion juggling in Just a Shell Game.

–  In robotic juggling news, it seems there is a new robo-juggler out there.  This one has a different design and more human-like arm.

–  Mike Price recently performed on the latest season of America’s Got Talent.

–  Daniel Candia and Fernando Torres do some juggling and diabolo moves in Infinite.

–  Sebastian Gonzales goes wild with balls in Bellavista 1 and Bellavista 2.

Nathan Wakefield

Nathan is a juggler from Southeast Michigan. He first learned to juggle in college, and has written for the website Streetjuggling.com. Currently, he is The Chairman of the International Jugglers' Association. I noticed that when I posted it, which it why I said to provide juggling information and to serve as a portal to rec.juggling, I meant to imply that of these new sites, some provided the portal and others were other juggling information. However, reading it now, I realize that I worded that beyond poorly. My apologies.
