World Juggling Day 2007 - Publicity Materials
What is World Juggling Day?
To honor the founding of the International Jugglers' Association in
June 1947, the IJA annually declares a Saturday in June as "World
Juggling Day." This year, in 2007, it is inviting individual jugglers
and juggling groups around the world to create events on Saturday,
June 16, designed to spotlight juggling -- a regional juggling
festival, a teaching session in a school or park, a "Big Toss-Up,"
juggling games or media related juggling stunts.
With a large number of juggling events worldwide on the same day, and
coordinated media work, World Juggling Day can help generate
enthusiasm for and awareness of juggling among the general public, and
give local jugglers a fun and creative rallying point for their
efforts. We encourage you to download the World Juggling Day logo to
share with your friends and use to publicize your World Juggling Day
event. See above for the sizes and background colors it is available
in. You can also paste this HTML into your web pages to link to the

Teaching the art of juggling will also be a focus of World Juggling Day. Jugglers worldwide will be sharing their knowledge to teach the ancient art to as many would-be jugglers as possible.
Participants can also win prizes simply by registering at this WJD
website. The event sponsors are offering prizes such as IJA
memberships, juggling DVDs, to dozens of randomly selected
registrants.
Make your plans now to be part of something big in the world of juggling! Join up with your object manipulating friends across the globe for World Juggling Day!
