As Early Bird festival registration rapidly approaches, we are excited to ﬁll you in with details about the highly anticipated event.
This yearʼs festival will be held on the lovely Purdue University campus in West Lafayette, Indiana, located just 70 miles from the Indianapolis International Airport. The city is getting excited to be ﬂooded with jugglers from around the world and is stepping up to welcome object manipulators of all kinds into its city limits.

Early Bird prices will only be available for two weeks, so for the best price, register in February.
Early Bird: February 15 – 28 Adult $189/Youth $139
Regular: March 1 – June 30 Adult $229/Youth $179
On Site: July 28 – August 3 Adult $259/Youth $219
Various a la carte options are also available.
Registration: This year we will be using EventBrite for online registration. This will help make the process more streamlined. Be sure to include in your registration any extra items you want, including Special Workshops and entry fees for Joggling and the Stage Championships. Mail-in registration will not be an option for the festival.

This year, the IJA will offer three Special Workshops:
Pattern, Trick and Sequence Creation by Patrik Elmnert
Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am-12pm.
Jugglers of any skill level, from beginner to expert, are invited to join this special workshop which examines how patterns, tricks and sequences are created.
Poi Technique and Exploration by Cyrille Humen
Wednesday and Thursday, 1pm-3pm.
This workshop will cover a wide range of poi spinning techniques for beginning to advanced spinners, including Flowers, Body Tracing, and Contact Poi. The workshop will also provide tips and techniques on proper form and body mechanics, sequence construction, and how to make patterns more visually appealing.
Take Your Juggling to New Heights by Richard Kennison
Thursday and Friday, 10am-12pm.
In this two-day special workshop, Richard will have you look at some of his practical ideas for building a better foundation for your juggling and for creating a juggling act that sets you apart from others.
Each special workshop costs $60 (in addition to normal fest registration fees) and will meet on two days for a total of four hours. All special workshops will be scheduled during different time slots, so attendees wanting to commit a lot of time to learning and training can register for one, two or all three.
IJA Stage Championships
Top jugglers from around the world come to the IJA festival each year to present their skill and art in the IJA Stage Championships, hoping to earn the coveted IJA Gold Medal. Cash prizes and medals are awarded to the top three winners in the Juniors, Teams, and Individuals categories.
People interested in competing in the 2014 IJA Stage Championships will be required to submit a prelim Video and $25 entry fee, no later than May 15th. Full updated Championships rules and guidelines will be posted on the IJA website by Feb. 15th.
Juggling History Lounge
Donʼt miss this museum quality exhibit of our juggling history! David Cainʼs extensive collection of historical juggling memorabilia will be on display throughout the week in the Juggling History Lounge.

This non-competitive stage show Wednesday at 7pm (prior to the Juniors Championships) will feature young performers up to age 18. Beginners and experienced jugglers are welcome. Dorms / Hotels
Convenient on-campus dorm room housing is available for low rates and in close proximity to all festival venues. Registration to reserve a dorm room, as well as parking passes and daily meals, will be done through Purdue University. Dorm rooms will range from $30 – $70 per night, depending on whether you have a private, shared, or group bathroom. More information on the registration process will soon be available through www.juggle.org.

Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is 70 miles southeast of Purdue University. If you are coming from the airport, there are several options to arrive at Purdue, including Amtrak, Greyhound, car rental, or shuttle bus.
