Juggling prop maker Edward Van Wyck opened for business in Cincinnati, Ohio (USA) in 1895. In 1900, Van Wyck published a well-known book titled “America and Europe’s Greatest Jugglers.” This book featured jugglers from the USA and Europe using Van Wyck’s juggling and circus props. You can see this book by clicking here.
While that book is fairly well-known among juggling history fans, a much lesser-known followup was published by Van Wyck in 1912. The first half of the book included jugglers and a few other variety acts that used Van Wyck’s products. Some of the better known jugglers featured include Kathi Gultini, Joe Cook, the Mowatts, the Normans, and the Nichols-Nelson Troupe. The second half of the book featured an in-depth catalog of Van Wyck’s juggling and circus props. This catalog has never been online before, so I present it here for your enjoyment and study.
