A Message from the Chairman, May 2016

Plenty of exciting things have been happening at the IJA!

Have you seen Tony Pezzo’s latest juggling film ‘Fake Sports’ yet? IJA members can see the entire video plus a special bonus video for free on eJuggle! Don’t let the name fool you, I assure you that this video and tricks contained therein are, in fact, real (not to mention totally awesome!).

In other eZine news, we’d like to welcome Bravo Juggling as the latest addition to our Vendor Discount Program. Bravo Juggling manufactures juggling equipment ranging from devilsticks and poi, to their own unique style of toss juggling beanbags. IJA members get 10% off all Bravo Juggling orders. To see how to take advantage of this and other great offers from juggling vendors, log in to your eJuggle account and visit the Vendor Discount Program page.

Our first IRC in the Middle East this past month was a huge success! We are thrilled to be able to hold competitions like this all over the world. Be on the lookout for video footage from this event as well as news about other upcoming IRCs.

We’ve extended our deadline for IJA Board nominations to June 17th. Be a part of guiding the organization by either nominating someone or running for the Board yourself.

Our festival in El Paso is looming just around the corner, and we’ve added another special workshop! We are now offering a 2 day-4 hour special hooping workshop with Aleksandra Savina. Check out the class workshop page for more information and to register. Additionally, we’re also looking for workshop leaders to sign up to teach our standard workshop classes! Interested in teaching a workshop or two (or three)? Head on over to our workshop sign-up page and tell us what you have in mind. Don’t be shy — the IJA is a place for all sorts of diverse skills, whether you’re a juggler, flow artist, dancer, performer, hobbyist, etc.  We can all learn from one another and help each other by rendering assistance in some way.

Full festival info, including online registration, is available at: www.juggle.org/festival.
