IONTA is a Colombian interdisciplinary company devoted to the development of ideas through artistic creation, research, and production. Since 2021, we have been creating stage and audiovisual works that bring together juggling, object manipulation, music, composition, performance, production, cultural management, pedagogy, and psychosocial practices. Our collective was born from the convergence of diverse creative interests and artistic disciplines. Each member brings more than two decades of individual experience in circus arts, theatre, audiovisual creation, and music, enriching our shared artistic vision and collaborative practice. IONTA is formed by Daniel Valderrama (Daniman), Juan Felipe Santamaría (Santa), Sergio Carreño (Ser Gio), and Iván Altafulla. Together, we create projects that explore new possibilities for artistic expression, collaboration, and meaningful engagement with audiences.
