I’m Aldo Villacorta from Lima, Peru; professional juggler and circus artistic director. I’m sharing with you my research on making bounce juggling more dynamic by using platforms and benches to create unique architectures. By building ‘machines’ that generate various angles, I aim to showcase different mobile stages for bounce juggling.
In 2025, I began directing the Juggling Ensemble in Bogotá, Colombia, and the Circus Ensemble in Lima, Peru. My goal is to forge a new path for juggling worldwide—not only with bounce juggling but also with clubs, rings, and more (check out @MDFmalabares). I hope this invitation from the IJA (International Jugglers’ Association) opens doors to new projects, festivals, and circus conventions around the world.
