Hello! It’s a pleasure to be able to show some of my juggling here. My name is Raúl Cifuentes Ortiz. I’ve been juggling since 2011, always with boxes or cigar boxes, which is what has defined me ever since. All of us who are involved in this do so because we somehow fell in love with the ability to perform impossible tricks and what that generates for the spectators and ourselves—a satisfaction. Our sport, our art, our mental outlet into a unique world of creation.
This video was made in a district of Santiago de Chile called Puente Alto, where I live on Cerro La Ballena, a place I think is amazing. It shows a bit of the power of boxes, a toy that’s rarely exploited in this part of the world. I hope more people are encouraged to play with it and do something great together. Finally, I want to thank my people, everyone in the industry, the friends I’ve made in Chile and abroad thanks to juggling, all the adventures this activity has led me to, the hard-working people who never give up on what they consider their art, and the brave people who decided to make this their path. Always the best. Life became more magical thanks to juggling.
