Ireland is know for many things – wonderful food, spectacular landscape, creamy pints of Guinness, and ancient legend. At this years European Juggling Convention you can experience the food and drink, the landscape, and most importantly – The Legend Stage. The EJC returns to Millstreet County Cork in the province of Munster for what is guaranteed to be one of the most spectacular festivals ever. The festival was previously held in Ireland in 2006 and was exceptionally well received. With stunning weather the whole week, jugglers really experienced the welcome of the Irish people and Ireland in all her glory. Juggling and Circus Arts have exploded in Ireland since 2006 and so this years festival is a huge event on everyone’s calendar.
The Legend Stage is a once off show featuring a handful of Juggling Legends who have been performing for several decades and who have made a significant impact on the world of juggling, both for jugglers and for the public. EJC 2014 Ireland is hosting Michael Moschen, Freddy Kenton, Steve Mills, Donald Grant, Françoise Rochais, Haggis & Charlie and Jochen Schell for a truly unique show. This is a very rare opportunity to see the Juggling Legends of our time perform together in one show that will blow your socks off.
In addition to the Legend Show, EJC2014 has already announced Masterclasses in Poi, Juggling, Hooping, Aerials, Staff spinning, Performance and Diabolo there is huge variety on offer and the team will still be announcing Masterclasses and Performances over the coming weeks. The Acrobatics programme includes both ground acrobatics classes and a special aerials acrobatics series which is being run by the world reknowned Fidget Feet group. With music, open stages, and Irish themed night and the usual array of fight nights, diabolo battles and renegade shows – this European Juggling Convention is set to be an amazing experience.
