Founded in 1947, the IJA is excited to be celebrating it’s 70th Annual Festival in the delightful city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. See you there!

Downtown Cedar Rapids is an ideal setting for the IJA festival, loaded with fun, friendly, casual places to eat, drink and shop. Event Packages

Event packages for the IJA fest include gym access, regular workshops, a T-shirt and a ticket to each show. They don’t include special workshops or any competition entry fees. Purchase your Event Package during the Early Bird period for the best price. Special workshops can also be purchased during advance registration.

A La Carte registration will be available on-site at the festival for: daily gym admission, T-shirts, show tickets, special workshops and spectator passes.

The 2016 IJA Stage Championship total prize money has been increased to $35,000! Thanks to the generous support of anonymous donors, iiWii and Unna Med, the 69th Annual IJA Festival will have the largest prize money in history! The prize money includes $10,000 for the Gold Medalists of the Individuals and Teams Championship! The Deadline to enter is April 1st.

Festival Site: the brand-new, $144-million US Cellular Center Complex:

  • A huge 28,000-sq.ft. main juggling space, connected to the DoubleTree Hotel by the hotel’s atrium lobby.
  • 5,000-sq.ft. of adjacent workshop space in the Taft meeting rooms, just steps from the gym.
  • A gorgeous atrium lobby and prefunction area for XJuggling, Games of the IJA, and more.
  • All of it connected to the beautiful high-rise DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, our festival headquarters hotel!

Festival Theatre: The Paramount Theatre is a quick 5-minute walk from the DoubleTree and the US Cellular Center:

  • A stunning live performance theatre, recently restored to its original 1920’s glory.
  • The Paramount will be our venue for four nights of world-class juggling and variety shows and Stage Championships that are highlights of every IJA festival.

  • The DoubleTree by Hilton Convention Center Complex, a beautiful, modern, high-rise boutique hotel located in the same building as our juggling space and Club Renegade venue.
