From The Archives – Video Highlights of 25 Juggling Icons

For the IJA 2020 Online Festival, I was asked to create something for Movie Night. I decided to keep with what I know and created a curated collection of video clips of jugglers listed in the Masters section of the book that my brother Scott and I recently wrote – 200 Jugglers Every Juggler Should Know. The book opens with an examination of 30 jugglers whom we thought deserved a little extra distinction due to their success, fame, influence, or skill. Of those 30, we have video footage of 25 of them. Therefore, I went to work locating, digitizing, and editing this film and recorded commentary to introduce each juggler. This project took me 11 long days.

Unfortunately, the film showing was scheduled at the same time as one of the Renegade shows during the festival. Needless to say, I was disappointed by this scheduling snafu. Therefore, it was decided that I would create this article to make the film available. It is an hour and six minutes long and features a lot of amazing and rare footage of 25 of the best jugglers of all time. I hope you take the time to watch it. Enjoy.
