Note that the graph does not show the time penalties, and as a result the totals don’t all match the table above. Manuel Mitasch had a deduction of 1.2 points for being 11 seconds under the minimum of five minutes, and Masahiro Kudo had a deduction of 8.4 points for being 29 seconds over the maximum of eight minutes. However, neither deduction affected the final ranking.

While the primary score is calculated by discarding the highest and lowest score within each category, the tie-breaker score adds those discarded scores back in.
