Matt Hall is from Mountain View, CA, and he has been juggling for 20 years. He started juggling late at 27, and is now 48, but his best juggling is definitely ahead of him, and that is very exciting. He loves juggling for its endless, always-just-out-of-reach vistas as well as for the people of the juggling community, who are almost without exception positive and welcoming. The video was shot at the school where he teaches (public school teacher of Japanese for 19 years) in the hallway where his juggling club meets.
Special Thanks
Taylor Glenn–for making it all happen. I have neither the patience or the skills to create a video. She filmed one practice for 90 minutes and created something that I will always treasure. This video is truly hers. The Paly Juggling Club Students–for inspiring me to get back into the game, so to speak. Game of Throws II is going to be EPIC!
Erin Stephens, Jeremiah Johnston, Kevin Axtell and the West Coast Crew–for living the dream, each in their own way.
Jay Gilligan, Andreas, Stefan Paridaen, Wes Peden, Erik Aberg, & Luke Wilson–for being the ones at the sharp edge of the spear and for putting out tricks I’ve been loving and stealing for years.
Lisa Hall–for being my first and most beloved videographer. I love you madly.
