My name is Verena and I’m from Karlsruhe, Germany. Before the pandemic, I was a professional juggler and performer, and hopefully I’m going to be that again soon. In the meantime, I found all sorts of interesting projects to bring some juggling joy to the world and keep myself occupied.
Flats in a flat is a little pun I came up with during the first lockdown in Germany. It is part exploration of new juggling tricks and concepts, part dadaistic art, and part just for laughs. This is part two of the series, filmed during the second lockdown in Germany, in my flat, of course. Besides the juggling, you can find many of my hand-made stage costumes in the little film sets I built as well as t-shirts and deco from juggling conventions I have organized. Though I loved making these videos and finding new tricks to do with flats, I sincerely hope that there will be no need for Flats in a flat 3. Stay safe, everyone, lots of love to you.
