Juggler’s Scoop – February 11th, 2012

Juggler’s Scoop is a bi-weekly collection of the latest juggling videos and news bits from around the web.  Here’s the latest scoop!

–  The WJF has posted Lauge Benjaminsen’s WJF 7 5 Ball Routine as well as footage from the Major League Combat finals.  In other WJF news, the organization has announced a potential merger with the Seattle Juggling Festival for WJF 8.

–  Joe Showers took to the stage for a volleyball juggling routine at Turbofest.

–  Bob and Trish present a Special Olympics Edition of their Trick Shot of the Month as well as a Joggle Happy School Show.

–  Chase Martin juggles 3-5 balls in a Family Night Routine.

–  Tuan Le juggles and does some hat manipulation in the Dube showroom.

–  Alex Barron is Almost There when it comes to the 11 ball qualify.

–   Michael Karas has posted some early 2012 practice footage as well as clips from the show Perfect Catch, featuring Jen Slaw.

–  Mura continues on the path of three ball madness in Patterns 7.

–  Doug Sayers and Peter Kaseman have set new world records in 11, 12, and 15 ball passing.

–  Joe Salter is preparing to juggle an entire triathlon for charity.  Check out his training footage, and click here to donate to his cause.

–  While their classmates where conditioning, Jeremy Fein and Thom Wall were busy doing these tricks.

Nathan Wakefield

Nathan is a juggler from Southeast Michigan. He first learned to juggle in college, and has written for the website Streetjuggling.com. He previously served as Chairman of the IJA and also held various officer positions. When he is not frantically trying to learn new manipulation skills, he enjoys producing music, acting, and watching horror films.
