Donald Lauppe was born into a juggling family. His parents were the famous juggling duo Gus and Ursula. Donald was born on April 12, 1952 and grew up in show business. Below you can see him with his parents and the legendary comedy duo of Laurel and Hardy.

Donald joined the act in 1967. He did ball and mouthstick work, juggled up to 7 rings, did ball spinning, and juggled up to five large balls like his father.

In 1976, the Lauppe Family bought Simpson Animal Park in Brunswick, Maine, where the couple lived the rest of their lives. Donald performed for a short while as a solo act at the animal park. Recently, two videos of Donald performing there have been found and digitized. These are the only known films of Donald as a solo performer and are shown here for the first time. The first video shows his toss juggling and ball spinning. The second shows his plate spinning act. Enjoy.

Donald only performed as a solo juggler for a brief time before retiring from show business. He passed away in 2018.
