Historic films of jugglers continue to be discovered and uploaded to the internet all the time. Often, the jugglers in the videos are ones I’ve written about previously and sometimes are the first films of the juggler that the modern public has seen. Many such films have been uploaded recently to various Facebook groups, so I decided to compile them here for everyone to see. Much thanks to Tom Kellett in particular for his deep dives on Youtube to unearth many of these.
We start with an appearance by incredible Mexican juggler Rudy Cardenas on the 1951 Honeymooners Christmas episode. Click here and here to read more about Rudy’s life and career.
The next video features the first known film of Paolo Piletto. His section starts at 14:29. Click here to learn more about Piletto.
Next we have the first film I’ve ever seen of the Soviet juggling star Albert Petrovsky juggling. Petrovsky was the first person to flash 11 rings and the second to juggle 7 clubs. Click here to learn more about him.
Below is a video of Jean Lemoine’s amazing plate spinning act.
The next video features the Spanish duo of Valente and Valente at the 29 minute mark, demonstrating duo club work, ping pong ball spitting, and boomerang plates.
The following video shows a juggler most likely from Russia performing with very unique clubs.
Starting at the 9:50 mark of the following video, you can see Swiss juggling star George Sollveno performing with rings, clubs, and combination tricks.
We finally have video of famed juggler Bartschelly performing his plate spinning act. It starts at the 13:13 mark below. Click here to learn more about Bartschelly.

新発見の歴史的ジャグリング映像 – パート 1
ジャグラーの歴史的映像が次々と発見されて、インターネットにアップロードされている。その中に出てくるジャグラーは、筆者が今までに記事にも書いてきたような有名なジャグラーであることも多いが、時には現代の一般人が初めて見るジャグラーの場合もある。そんな映像が、ここ最近 Facebook のグループに数多くアップロードされていたので、ここにまとめる。特に Tom Kellett 氏には、Youtube の中から映像を見つ出してきてくれたことに感謝したい。
まずは、1951 年の「ハネムーナーズ」（訳者註: 1955 年から 1956 年にかけて放映されたアメリカのテレビシットコム）のクリスマスエピソードに登場した、メキシコ人ジャグラー、ルディ・カルデナス（Rudy Cardenas）から。ルディの人生とキャリアについては、こちらとこちらを参照（英語）。
