The 2nd annual event was also held in Costa Rica. In 2017 and 2019, the IRC traveled to Guatemala and was hosted by the national circus festival, Guatecirko, and the 2018 event took place at the Encuentro Salvadoreño de Malabares y Circo in El Salvador. The IJA’s goal is to annually rotate partnership with different festivals in each of the Central American countries.
