After writing the article about Russian juggler, circus director, and stunt actor, Fist Petrovich Zemtsev, which you can read by clicking here, I discovered some photos of Petrovich. The images are from Zemtsev’s shows with his wife Anna Zemtsev, and of the couple when they were in the traveling circus in 1946, when Firs arrived from fighting in World War II, with the rank of captain.
The show was called “Juggler-eccentrics.” It took a while to perform, because Firs had to regain the physical condition lost by the war:
For nine years, Petrovich directed the Moscow traveling circus, and was also an artist there:
